GoBook — India's Fastest Growing Venue Booking Platform

A full-stack mobile platform that replaces WhatsApp bookings and spreadsheet slot lists with intelligent inventory, UPI-native payments, and real-time collections — built for cricket grounds and multi-sport venues across India.

The Challenge

Ground owners across Gurugram, Delhi NCR, and tier-one cities were running operations on WhatsApp threads, UPI screenshots, and handwritten ledgers. Slot availability lived in someone's head. Weekend cricket demand meant double-bookings, missed advances, and no visibility into who still owed money after the match.

Players wanted the same convenience they get ordering food — browse open slots, pay a booking advance, and show up knowing the ground is confirmed. Owners needed one control room: calendar, walk-ins, online requests, partner settlements, and expenses — without hiring a back-office team.

Our Approach

Deep Hill designed and built GoBook as a dual-sided platform — a host app for venue operators and a player app for discovery and booking. We started with box-cricket workflows (two teams per slot, four-hour windows, evening leagues) and expanded to multi-unit venues with intelligent pricing and partner-aware payments.

  • 60-day slot calendar — period grid (Morning, Day-Night, Night) with colour-coded fill states: open, partial, sold out
  • Intelligent slot generation — base rates plus weekend and time-band premiums, simulated before publish; flat-rate mode for corporate nets
  • Walk-in booking in three taps — name, team, advance collected; team master remembers repeat corporate sides
  • Online booking queue — payment proof attached, one-tap accept, instant calendar update
  • Collections dashboard — pending rupees by date, call and remind from the app, mark settled with partner tagging
  • Partner & UPI routing — company account or split partner QRs with traffic-weighted distribution
  • Owner financials — collection rate, daypart revenue, ground mix, overdue tracking, partner settlement plans
  • Player discovery — venue browse, sport filters, seat-map grid, deposit checkout via UPI

Platform Highlights

GoBook is purpose-built for how Indian grounds actually operate — not a generic calendar SaaS with a cricket skin.

60 Days of slot inventory visible at a glance
2 Teams tracked per box-cricket slot
5 UPI IDs with weighted traffic split
100 Wallet points per confirmed booking

Hosts manage expenses, staff roles, blacklists, and defaulters from the same app. An AI assistant answers live questions — “What's pending today?” — and navigates straight to the right screen. Everything runs in Asia/Kolkata time with INR formatting throughout.

Estimated Impact

Based on pilot venues and operator feedback during rollout across NCR grounds, Deep Hill estimates the following improvements versus WhatsApp-and-ledger operations:

70% Reduction in booking coordination time
55% Faster collection of pending balances
65% Fewer slot conflicts and double-bookings
45% Improvement in repeat-team booking speed

Estimated benefits are based on observed platform usage and operator-reported improvements during early adoption. GoBook is positioned as India's fastest growing venue booking platform by venue onboarding velocity and booking volume growth in its launch markets. Results vary by venue size, sport mix, and operating model. No audited financial figures are quoted.

Outcome

GoBook is live at gobook.deephill.in, serving ground owners who generate a month of priced slots in under a minute and players who book without a phone call. The platform has become the operational backbone for multi-ground operators — replacing fragmented tools with a single IST-native system built for Indian sports venues.

Deep Hill continues to extend GoBook with smarter pricing, bulk slot management, Excel exports for finance teams, and load-tested infrastructure ready for peak weekend demand.
